Award to Slaves Descendents in Tetouan Film Festival

Synopsis: Although Tunisia is the first Arab country to abolish racism in 1846, blacks’ voice is still unheard . In post-revolutionary Tunisia, blacks still suffer racial discrimination, especially in the South of the country, predominated by dark-skinned people. « Slaves Descendants » features some of the racial practices exercised against blacks through personal stories and real experiences that attest for the bitter reality that racism is endorsed by some Tunisians.
